When calling for a phone quote please have measurements of your curtains or blinds ready as this will speed up the quoting process. You may either measure the length of your track, the curtain stretched out at the hemline or simply count the amount of drops (panels of fabric that make up your curtain). We will also need to know the height of your curtain from top to hemline.

The more accurate your information – the more accurate our quote!

Turn-around time:

  • Where a standard service is required (pick-up – dry clean – re-hang), you can expect a turn-around time of 3 to 6 working days.
  • When major repairs or alterations are required the expected turn-around time is 12 to 15 working days, (e.g. relining or resizing).

Can’t do without your curtains for that long?:

  • Temporary curtains are available for most situations at a very small and reasonable fee. You will need to advise us at quote stage if you require this service.
  • Delivery dates are co-ordinated prior to pick-up whenever possible.
  • In situations where renovations or refurbishment is taking place, delivery is not scheduled until we are notified by phone, facsimile or e-mail that works are in fact complete. (Storage fees may apply).
  • A minimum of 5 working days notice is required for delivery arrangements to be made.

Procedures:

Its important that we take down your drapes for several reasons:
  1. We inspect every drape for signs of wear and tear, sun damage, stains or just soiled areas from pets, kids and so on and discuss issues that might need to be addressed.
  2. We measure from the floor up to the hem to ensure no shrinkage issues when the drapes are rehung.
  3. We check that all the tracks are operating as they should and advise if any repair work or replacement is need.
  4. Pelmets, Roman blinds and other upholstered window furnishings are very difficult to spot clean. Even a grubby hand print from the person taking it down can be difficult if not impossible to remove.
There is no discount if you take the drapes down yourself so please leave it to us for the reasons above.

Deodorizing:

Even when the stain from nicotine, open fire or a house fire is not removable we can still eliminate the odour with our deodorizing treatment.
Please inform us of this at quote stage that deodorizing is required so can can advise you and quote correctly.

Cheques are only accepted upon pick up of order, cash on delivery or credit card processed on the morning of and prior to delivery.
