We have the most thorough curtain and drape cleaning process there is.

Do you want some one to come to your home and just vacuum and steam the front of your curtains or do you want it done properly?

Dry Cleaning is done in a very large front loading machine that uses a solvent rather than water. It is very gentle with delicate fabrics but very effective with dirt, grime and insects.

Our solvent is chilled to the correct temperature before each load and our drying temperature is set at 40 degrees C (same as a hot summer day) to ensure the safety of your lining.

We take down the drapes, remove the hooks and the plastic shanks holding the lining to the face fabric to ensure that the fabrics separate to enable the solvent to clean every inch, back, front and centre of your drapes. No more dust, bugs or excrement from flys, spiders and so on. We spot clean the stains both before and after dry cleaning to ensure best results.

Once dry cleaning is completed the hooks are put back in and the curtains are then hung to drop and air followed by steaming and check measure to ensure no shrinkage, we then insert new shanks to hold the lining and face fabric together. The drapes are then fan folded (this is how your drapes were delivered when new)and bagged ready for either storage or delivery to your home and hung back on your windows.

Our process takes 5 working days and we can take down and return your whole house lot of drapes in this time if required. Monday pick up and Friday delivery is our most popular service and for people who are painting on the weekend Wednesday to Wednesday is the most popular. We also have storage available if you need your drapes out of harms way during renovations.

And don’t forget we have temporary block out curtains available for a small fee if required. or we can simply put your spare sheets on the window for you with some cloths pegs while we’re at it.
